Joinery

From a hand laid teak deck to bespoke cabinetry our shipwrights can provide the highest quality workmanship to make your yacht look stunning. Should the internal finish require a glass lacquered finish, this can be provided by our painters and polishers.

The projects that we undertake can be as small as re-veneering a chart table area to accommodate new navigation equipment to a complete custom fit out of an interior.

The advent of premade teak decks and imitation teak decks has led to a decrease in the demand for hand laid decks, however in most instances you get what you pay for and a hand laid deck in the majority of cases looks better, has a stronger bond to the substrate and often utilises higher quality teak.

Testimonials

"I just wanted to thank you for the fitting of the bow thruster to my Hallberg Rassy 342. I have only used it a couple of times but you seem to have selected the correct unit for the boat as it appears to have plenty of power to push the bow round very quickly. I also wanted to say how much I was impressed with the skill and professionalism of John who came to cut two big holes in the bow of my boat! He was extremely clean and tidy when cutting or glassing and there was no need for me to clean anywhere in the forecabin at all after he left. The fibreglass finish both inside and the fairing outside was also superb. Please thank him for me as I also picked his brains at times and he was quite happy to answer my questions. Thanks again Mike. "

"I would like to thank you for your help and say that I was very impressed with your engineer Richard. His work is of the highest standard and he kept me informed at all times of what he intended to do so that I was able to comment or discuss. A very helpful and flexible attitude. Please pass on my thanks and mention to Mike these comments."
