From a small chip to your gelcoat to a major structural repair you can be confident that our crew will carry out the repair to the highest standards.

With 16 years experience in this sector, working as far afield as India and Kuwait we are well placed as a competitive and diligent team.

Painting

Our paint facility is as it says a dedicated area for paint work - large enough to accommodate masts up to 80 feet in length.

All of our crew have attended and passed both the Awlgrip and International Paint Applicators course and have many years of experience in the yacht fairing and painting industry. We are converse in most systems available from brush painting of classic wooden yachts to custom metalics on modern race yachts.

In addition to yacht painting we also paint components from furniture to masts, booms and spinnaker poles.

joinery and teak decks

Our dedicated wood working facility can cater to all your joinery requirements from a custom made cabinet to fitting a new teak deck. We have carried out a wide range of projects, from the rebuilding of an interior in Brazilian mahogany to custom laid teak decks. (LINK TO LITTLE BRITAIN)

We have a great team of shipwrights with over 130 years experience between only 4 of them, one being an apprentice.

Aside from their woodworking skills, they are equally at home working with Perspex, Corian or Avonite, creating some stunning effects.

This is a process where your vessel's topsides are re-gelled rather than painted.
Although Re-gelling tends to be more expensive than painting, there are advantages that should be considered:

  • The ability to repair your topsides if they get damaged
  • The overall visual appearance tends to give a much deeper lustre.
