Super-yacht Tender

When Osmotech get asked to create something special it’s usually a one-off design, built with unique materials, bespoke woodwork and fittings that showcases the whole team's talents and expertise.  The brief for this classic-looking eight metre tender for a Mediterranean based super-yacht was that it had to be light, fast, easy to handle and capable of carrying ten VIP's and two crew in comfort and style.  For more pictures click here

After we'd delivered the tender to the mother ship, the Super-yacht's skipper sent the designers this message: 

"I must thank you both for all the hard work you've put into designing what we feel is the ultimate sporting yacht tender. 

The tender's performance and handling are superb and she has quickly become the favorite of our deck crew. She impresses at speed with her stability and ride comfort whilst at the same time keeping her passengers dry and secure. Slow speed maneuvering is so precise and intuitive that even our engineers quickly mastered her. The engineers also commented how practical and accessible she is to work on. 

Osmotech have built a fine tender and we're extremely pleased with the quality of the finish and fittings. We will be providing you with further feedback during the course of the summer as we put her through her paces with her owners. She will undoubtedly create a stir amongst the yachting community this year."
