Recently a yacht broker came to us to help clinch an important deal. The customer wanted to buy a Pershing 57, but was concerned that his two jetskis wouldn't fit into the boat's aft garage. Designed to accommodate a purpose-built mini rib, the garage's sloping deck and curved door presented quite a challenge - not only because of the lack of headroom, but also due to the difficulty of lifting heavy jetskis in and out over the large aft deck. If they didn't go in, the deal was off.
Upon first inspection it seemed to be an impossible case of trying to squeeze large square pegs into a small round hole but Osmotech's technicians are not easily beaten and an ingenious solution was soon devised. By installing angled teak chocks with nylon runners and re-programming the passerelle to act as a davit crane, Osmotech configured a simple and manageable retrieval system.
