Stabilzers - Anti-foul & copper coat

Anti-foul & copper coat

Antifouling the bottom of your boat was once an annual maintenance item however, this can now be negated by the application of an epoxy copper coating which should last for ten years plus.

The downside to this product is that there is only one colour option and the initial application cost is much higher than annual application of conventional antifoul. However, after a few years the original outlay will be regained. Coppercoat really comes into its own if you are cruising the world and know that haul out facilities are limited or will be few and far between, or if you are going to be based in the Med where many lift out facilities are very expensive.

Should you choose to use conventional antifouling where possible use a self-eroding antifoul as this will prevent a build-up of antifouling and negate the need for antifoul removal after a few years as the build-up of numerous coats over the years will start to affect the boats’ performance.

Testimonials

"Thanks for the great work designing and installing my new sanitary system. Given the very tight timescales due to the yacht's imminent departure for the Mediterranean, I am delighted with the exceptional standard of installation. The finish gives better than factory appearance to the whole job. Osmotech's "can do" attitude really did mean that I had one less thing to worry about with only a couple of days to go before departure. Although to be honest it didn't come as too much of a surprise after the similarly exemplary install of my heating system a couple of years ago. Thanks again, and see you for the next project."

"I would like to thank you for your help and say that I was very impressed with your engineer Richard. His work is of the highest standard and he kept me informed at all times of what he intended to do so that I was able to comment or discuss. A very helpful and flexible attitude. Please pass on my thanks and mention to Mike these comments."
